Old vehicles. They don't use the air con even though it's extremely hot. The people in the office on the telephone are extremely rude. They charge an extra $10 to be dropped off one street over from their usual route. Busses stink and are very noisy. Never clean also.
I've been with them maybe 5 times and wont ever again.

Worst shuttle service in New Zealand... Do not use them!!!! You are much better off going with Nakedbus or Intercity Travel.

Appauling After Service

I was appauled to recently use an atomic shuttle bus
The bus was diverted by staff at base meaning when it got to me and 4 other passangers in hornby it was 35mins late no phonecall text message nothing.
Then we get to ashburton and bus driver says 2 minutes toilet stop and bingo so people do that 20 mins later we are still waiting for 2 of the passengers bus driver doesnt know what to do but has 20 to 25 upset people as hes now 50 mins late at this point
so he drives off after all 20 mins to goto the toilet for 2 20 year olds i think not.
we drove 20 minutes down the road and where radioed to say they had just come outa the toilet meaning they where in the toilet for 40 minutes believe that and youll believe in anything.
Clearly the Staff at ATOMIC SHUTTLES do as they made us turn around and YES go back all i no is they would be the only 2 girls in newzealand to be able to get away with a 40 min orgy while a bus and pasangers suffer such inconvenience.
This meant for me i was 1hour 15 mins late to my destination i unfortunatly was going there for my daughters 3 year old birthday partie sadly i missed the bulk of tht and 20 min after arriving she was asleep and the delay meant id missed candle blowing an eating.

Anyway i contacted atomic as this is 3rd bus in a row where ive been over an hour late yes people please DONT EVER CATCH ATOMIC IF GOING TO THE AIRPORT ESPECIALLY AFTER READING BELOW.
I Contacted atomic and spoke to a lady called Lynette no appology was offered told me management only took complaints by mail and i was welcome to address this by mail.
I explained that wasnt good enough i was put through to marree robertson office manager as she introduced herself ACTUAL FACT PART OWNER ATOMIC SHUTTLES See Below
she informed me after 15min and 4 seconds finally said im sorry but at end day i back my staff they did the right thing and no discounts will be made to affected pasangers really its not her problem and Peter robertson was unavailable for comment
Now as this was the 3rd bus in a row and lets look at history
RECENTLY AlL ATOMIC BUSSES WHERE TAKEN OFF THE ROAD by NZ POLICE FOR BREACHES IN SAFTEY AFTER MANY MECHANICAL FAULTS.
Now ive stuck with them an supported them but enough is enough last 3 busses have been late 1 mechanical issues and over hour and half wait and not even a text or phone call say will be late then there is my experience last friday 15th july 2011 and need i go on..............
I WOULD URGE PEOPLE TO BOYCOTT THIS COMPANY AND ALL ITS BUSSES IN NEW ZEALAND WE HAVE HEAPS OF LOVELY PASSANGER TRANSPORT OPTIONS AND BELOW ARE LISTED SOME I WOULD RECOMEND.

Anyway safe traveling i wish everyone well i dont like doing blogs like this but im a very loyal man and i am over the disloyal company that is atomic shuttles and im highly concerned there attitude is so far from reality im surprised they have customers but also for anyone going to the airport if you miss your plane and be 3 outa 3 if where on my busses you will not get any assistance from ATOMIC even when it is there own doing
Happy reading people i leave it with you but you HAVE been WARNED.
