We stayed in a separate house to the backpackers area in the main house. It was obviously being done up over time, we did not mind that but it had not been cleaned since the last person stayed in it, and we are pretty sure the sheets on the bed had not been changed. The gas had run out for the stove hotplates (or they didn't work) so we had to go over to the main house to cook our tea. This kitchen, while quite quaint, on closer inspection was quite grotty and ill equipped. It was hard to tell which part of the house was the owners area, and which was the guests. We suspect there is no difference. The owner, whilst friendly, had obviously been drinking when we arrived, and made himself very scarce in the morning when we left. Not recommended - it was the worst place we have ever stayed in.
