Avoid Picton Lodge

I stayed in Picton Lodge and suggest that people look else where. Staff rather rude and abrupt and not helpful. Horrible carpet (dull brown). Only allowed 8 minute showers. Kitchen pretty poor too. Found a toe nail clipping in my bed. Recommed The Villa backpackers just up the road. Friendly staff and even friendlier dogs. Has a spa pool too. Picton Lodge lacks facilities inside and look out the kitchen window and you are an arms length from the railway line. Lots of noise. Cheers Kelly
