Free internet was fast and reliable, the huge lockers in the room were a nice change from the tiny metal lockers as most other hostels that were useless. At Stables I could everything in the locker. Can't beat the location, or price (we chose a 4 share room for $25, but there were dorms for $19!!!). Cleanest hostel I've stayed at so far, and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable on the wineries in the area.
Overall, no complaints. Very enjoyable stay.

Very unpleasant experience

I stayed in Stables over the weekend and had a very unpleasant experience. The receptionist very unfriendly and rude. There were other guests drinking and screaming in the varanda all night and when I complained to the receptionist she did nothing to calm them down. Very uncomfortable night. Not recommended to anyone going to stay there. Overall rating 2/10
