Formerly the Sunkist International Backpackers an now the YHA Thames is a Historic 1860’s Kauri Hotel transformed in to a backpackers hostel. They are close to the Kauaeranga Valley and Pinnacles and shuttle you 25kms into the forest and drop you off at the roads end for great hiking and treks through native New Zealand Bush. Facilities include travel desk, modern self catering kitchen, Free bikes, Internet 24 hour access, Free tea and coffee and a large front balcony facing the waterfront.
